Yesterday to celebrate International Women’s Day 2022, Ingenium came together as an organisation to discuss how we can #BreakTheBias as a company internally and with our clients.

Following a coffee morning for the whole team, the female members of the organisation met as a group to discuss bias that women face in society and how Ingenium can take action to help break these biases in the organisation and in the wider community. The discussions highlighted many of the hidden biases that exist in society and opened the door to communication about different experiences of bias through a cross-generational lens. It was a productive and enjoyable morning for the whole team and we are looking forward to continuing the conversation around breaking the bias over the next twelve months.

About International Women’s Day:

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group, or organisation specific.

This year’s theme is #BreakTheBias where we are encouraged to imagine a gender-equal world, a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, a world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive, a world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
